IgualPro - As profissões não têm género
Aim
The project “IgualPro – as Profissões não têm Género” aims to develop tools to fight gender inequalities in VET (Vocational Education and Training), promoting the involvement of boys and girls on gender equality education in vocational training schools in the North and Centre regions of Portugal, as well in the capital city area, Lisbon. It is an action-research project with the main aim of fighting sexual segregation in VET choices of both girls and boys and the subsequent segregation of professional paths, through the deconstruction of gender stereotypes within training areas in which there is an effective segregation between boys and girls.

- To promote fight against sexual segregation in VET by girls and boys, namely when choosing their professional careers and training
- To develop training toolkits based upon action-research methodology
- To conceive and develop awareness raising actions to fight sexual segregation in professional careers
