Innovative Projects in VET and for the Commerce & Services Sectors

CECOA mission clearly states the promotion of projects and studies aiming to develop innovative contents, methodologies and tools to support vocational education and training and/or targeted to the Commerce and Services sectors, as one of its strategic key points.

In fact, CECOA investment in R&D and Innovation has been for the last 20 years an advantage regarding other VET providers. It provides CECOA with the possibility of creating new “knowledge” as well as bringing to the training offer (at CECOA level but also at national level) and to the sectors CECOA represents – commerce and services – differentiation and innovation through innovative contents, methodologies and tools.

Our strategy has been based on the development of national and international R&D, Innovation, Cooperation and Partnership projects, acting as source of innovation and differentiation and allowing to bring to our training and services (Business Solutions, Initial Training for Young People, Adult Education, Accreditation of Prior Learning) and to the Human Resources involved, new knowledge and opportunities of skills and competences improvement, new models and methodologies, new tools and contents.

Early on, CECOA realised that a strategy of partnership, both at national and international level, could play an important role and act as a differentiation fator and that partnerships could be successfully used as source of innovation. CECOA works regularly with more than one hundred national and international partner institutions.
