QualiTools for IT Trainers
Aim
The QualiTools for IT Trainers Project seeks to enhance the professional development of VET teachers and trainers by strengthening their transversal skills of adapting training to learners needs, reflecting on the quality of training processes, evaluating outcomes and transfer, improving their own practice accordingly.
The project also aims to FOSTER QUALITY IMPROVEMENTS AT THE LEVEL of ICT training institutions and to CREATE a more MODERN, DYNAMIC, COMMITTED AND PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT INSIDE VET ORGANISATIONS.
Specific aims
• To develop a national report on existing quality tools for IT teachers/trainers in the partners countries and on the challenges of introducing bottom-up QA practices;
• To elaborate a synthesis report in all the partner countries' languages;
• To develop an in-depth analyses and adaptation of 20 good practices;
• To create an innovative QualiTools database freely accessible to IT teachers/trainers in schools (teachers), enterprises (tutors) and further training institutions;
• To create a project multilingual website;
• To develop a manager guideline helping to implement quality tools in the VET organisations;
• To valorise and disseminate the manager guideline, through face to face workshops for VET & QM managers (plus HR managers) in IT training institutions;
• To develop a face to face train-the-trainer programme;
• To create a webinar QualiTools training programme for ICT teachers/trainers based on the goals and activities of the face to face training programme;
• To elaborate a QualiTools handbook with a synthesis report, 50 QA tools for ICT teachers/trainers/VET practitioners, a manager guideline and 3 training programmes (2 face to face and 1 webinar).

• Compendium of 50 QualiTools gathered in a QualiTools handbook
• Multilingual QualiTools database

• Face to face and webinar training programmes on how to adequately use the QualiTools in everyday work life as a capacity-building measure in QA for ICT teachers/trainers
• Guideline for VET managers on how to implement grass-roots quality tools in their organisations
