GEPE JOVEM - SPACE FOR CAPACITY BUILDING AND OPPORTUNITIES

Aim

GEPE JOVEM is a national project that aims to promote capacity building in young people identified as being in a NEET situation (i.e. not in education, employment or training). The project aims to promote the re-engagement of these young people in education/training and/or their effective integration into the labour market. GEPE JOVEM operates in vulnerable areas of Lisbon (including the communities of Ajuda, Alcântara and Belém, among others), where a significant number of young people are in a NEET situation. The approach combines personalised training, psychosocial support, practical internships and entrepreneurship support to break cycles of exclusion and promote young people’s autonomy.
